**Parts of Your Sling

This is a glossary of terms that most are not usually acquainted with.

Shoulder of Sling- This is the part of the sling that contains the rings and sits on your shoulder with the rings facing towards the ground.

Rings- These are your adjusting points of your sling.

Tail- Free end of your sling that is pulled to adjust your sling. This part will actually hang down in front when not being used as a nursing cover, snot rag, or burp cloth. It can be tucked up underneath your child if you do not like the free end just hanging.

Rails- These are the hemmed edges that keep your baby in. You adjust your rails by tugging on each hemmed side of your tail. These are your fine tuning parts of your sling. These make ring slings stand a part from other slings because you can get that fit just right!!!
