This is for newborns to older infants and can be modified for toddlers.
The picture above can be enlarged by clicking on it.For Newborns and Infants with lack of good head control make a pocket much like the
Cradle Carry. Place baby up like you are going to burp her. Then lower her into the pouch facing towards you.
Either make her crouch like a little frog or cross her legs Indian-style once you put her in so that she doesn't have the ability to push out of the sling. Her legs, unlike front carriers, will not be hanging out of the bottom.
Adjust the sling around her making sure that the fabric which is up around her head holds it snuggly!
For infants and toddlers with good head control the instructions are just a bit different. Instead of making a true pocket, where there is fabric between you and your child, you push the fabric that separates you down and that will gather underneath her knees.
Make sure that her knees are higher than her seat, this secures that she won't wiggle out.
Place the fabric at her back either at her shoulders or under her arms so and pull your rails so that she is snug against you.
